Terms of use
What Aroos is
Aroos is a marketplace that lets people list pre-loved bridal and wedding-guest wear, and lets others find it to rent or buy. We are a platform that introduces buyers and sellers — we are not a party to the sale or rental, we do not take possession of any item, and we do not process payments.
Your account
You're responsible for the accuracy of what you post and for keeping your sign-in secure. You must be able to form a binding contract to sell or buy. Don't impersonate others or post on someone else's behalf without permission.
Listings
Sellers are responsible for describing each piece honestly — condition, measurements, and any flaws — and for having the right to sell or rent it. Listings that are misleading, counterfeit, or not bridal/wedding-guest wear may be removed.
Payment & handover
Price, payment, and handover are agreed directly between buyer and seller (typically over WhatsApp). Aroos does not hold funds, deposits, or stock, and is not responsible for completing or guaranteeing any transaction between users.
Liability
We work to keep Aroos accurate and available, but the platform is provided “as is.” To the extent the law allows, Aroos isn't liable for disputes between users or for the condition, quality, or delivery of any item listed.
Privacy
What we collect
The email you sign in with, the profile details you choose to add (name, WhatsApp, location), the listings and photos you upload, and the items you save. We also collect basic usage data needed to run the site.
How we use it
To run your account, show your listings, connect buyers with sellers, and contact you about your activity on Aroos. We don't sell your personal data.
Who we share it with
Service providers that help us operate — for example Supabase (database, authentication, and image storage) and our email provider. Your listing details and photos are public by design; your email is not shown to other users.
Your choices
You can edit or remove your listings and request deletion of your account and data at any time by writing to contact@aroosretail.com.
